Social Hour Media

Content creation and social media management that puts your heart on our screens

If I had to guess…

The last time you asked somebody for a recommendation, there’s a good chance their answer started with something along the lines of,

“Oh, I saw this in a video…”

Sharing content about your business on social media shows off your character and your voice (sometimes literally — who doesn’t love a voiceover moment?) and connects with your audience through more than just static images of your products.

A high-quality video does more than just entertain the mindless scroller.

94% of marketers say that video has helped them increase their audience’s understanding of a product or service.

People are twice as likely to share video content with their friends than any other type of content, including social media posts, blog posts, articles, and product pages.

Now, creating the right kind of content that stops those mindless scrollers in their tracks… that’s the tricky part.

That’s where I come in.

Hi! I’m Kaitlin. I’ve been making videos and posting them to the internet since loooong before it was the cool thing to do. When I was in elementary school, I’d ask my teachers if I could make videos instead of PowerPoints because I knew I could just do more in a video.

(Ask me about the time I won my class's Time Person of The Year competition by rapping as FDR in at-home music videos. Long story, but it’s a good one — promise.)

That love of video has never gone away, and now I use it to help businesses like yours reach their dream customers on social media. I’ll get to know you, your team, and the ins and outs of your business to bring the experience of being in your brick-and-mortar to the digital world through high-quality content.

here’s how we can

work together

If you’re looking for…

  • Someone to help create content for your business

  • A way to actually connect with your dream customer

  • Your business’s newest, biggest fan

  • A plan to become your corner of the internet’s next big thing

  • An untraditional (but super effective) approach to marketing

  • A ‘do it for the plot’ right-hand-gal

“So we’ll be viral tomorrow, right?”

Hmmm.. not quite.

Here’s a peek at what the process of working with me looks like…

ASAP!

You’ll inquire and I’ll send you a link to book a call where we can get to know each other better!

Within 48 Hours After Your Call

I’ll send over a proposal with all of the details on the package I think is the best fit for you. Once you’ve signed the contract and paid the invoice, we’ll get started!

First 30 Days

Onboarding time! I’ll learn everything there is to know about your business, create a strategy that fits your needs, and start creating a content bank.

Day 31

Your very first Social Hour-created post will go live!

Day 60

We’ll have a First Month Review call to go over your content, strategy, and calendar going forward.

Day 90

We’ll look at the analytics of your first 90 days with Social Hour and compare to previous 90 days. I’ll make any necessary tweaks, then we’ll get back to the fun stuff!

Monthly + Quarterly

We’ll have calls at the top of every month and quarter to go over your upcoming content calendar and schedule recording days.

“You really handle everything?”

Actually… no (that’s good news for you — I promise.)

My main goal is always to help you and your business thrive on social media. I can’t make it happen by myself, though.

The best marketing content is the kind that showcases the people behind the business. Whether that’s a tearjerker personal story about how you built your business or an oh-my-gosh-I’m-literally-crying-laughing prank on a manager, audiences love content that makes them feel something.

It’s me and my iPhone versus the world.

And if you need something else, I’ve got tons of talented friends I’d love to refer you to.

If you’re looking for professional photography, videography, copywriting, graphic design, or something else in between, I’m not the one for the job… but I probably know somebody who is. I have a network of local creatives who I love to refer and connect my clients with to fill their needs while keeping it all cohesive.

I’ll even find a way to make the most camera shy person feel confident enough to give us an Emmy-worthy performance.

You'd be shocked at the lengths I've gone to to make recording content a stress-free, fun time for my clients.

There may have been a situation that involved a bottle of Patron and some handwritten cue cards, but it got the job done. I truly believe that what you put into content creation, you’ll get 10x in return.

The more you and your team are willing to get involved in the process, the better the content we create together will be. And I promise: it truly does get easier to show up on camera once you’re used to it. Once we get into a good rhythm with our content creation sessions, you’ll be a natural (and a crowd-favorite.)
